Am looking at getting a remote control for volume and input selection.

Option 1 is the Lite Audio V-03.

See this is available from diygene.com or diyclub.biz. On diygene.com the lit sells for USD 119 or USD 249 if you order the optional aluminium handset and the upgraded AE resistors. Are the upgraded AE resistors worth it?  On diyclub.biz the kit sells for USD 178 with a power supply board. Anybody bought from either sellers and which option would you recommend?

Option 2 is a Lite Audio cheapie with ALPS motorized pot. On diygene.com for USD 48 with plastic remote or USD 93 with aluminium remote.

Option 3 is a ALPS motorized pot unit from analogmetric.com. I am quite keen on this unit, as it allows me to use unbalanced and balanced sources, and the while source selection is remote only, my wife will find the volume knob that you can turn by hand useful. Sells for USD 118.
