i have a set of krks which i use in the office, running flac files off my s4, using a mini jack to twin rca splitter.

it has not been sounding right, so i decided to change the cable. when removing the cable the centre pin stayed behind in the socket  :headbanger:

i have tried fishing it out with a pin, using prestik & a matchstick, & even opened up the speaker to see if i could just push it through & out the other side - the socket is sealed & glued to the plate...

all i can think of now is a drill, either a very small one to make a hole, or the size of the socket & just drill the piece out using a dremel or similar

does anyone have any ideas? is there anyone in centurion area handy with a drill & willing to do a favour? i am a klutz who would probably just destroy the whole thing..
