For anybody wanting to remove the color from anodized aluminium, here is a simple and effective way to do it. Takes less than 1 min, and requires only two ingredients. Caustic soda or drain cleaner as its also known, and hot water. The hotter the concoction, the quicker this works. Straight out of the boiling kettle is best for a quick result. Cold water takes a good deal more time. Last time I used cold water the piece took roughly 20 mins. Caution, do this outside. You will see why
