Hi folks,
I have a pair of ultrasone icans which I'm quite attached to.
Over the last while, the sound has become distorted, and I've narrowed it down to the fact that there is something wrong with the 3.5mm connector (it is one of those L shaped ones). I always have to fiddle with it now in order to stop the distortion from happening. Usually squeezing it for a while helps but then after a while the distortion comes back or I get sound in one ear only.
Does anyone know if is easily DIYable to change the connector? I'm not too worried about the aesthetics of making it look good - I just want it working normally again. I'm thinking of snipping off the jack.. but then not sure how I would wire it into a new one.
Dankie
