Hi all
So a lightening strike left my Pioneer with a loud hiss and hum on both speaker A and B. When you turn up the volume the amp goes into protection and a spark can be seen from one of the white blocks (transistors?) on the board right by the speaker outputs. The amp definitely smells like burned out something.
Is it worth repairing this? I paid R1500 for it so I'm not sure if this will be economical.
If so any idea of costs and who in JHB would be able to assist.
