Hi All, can any forum members suggest reputable data recovery service providers? My HDD died under mysterious circumstances. It had a large amount of FLAC from vinyl I no longer own and CD's that are now damaged and other data (software I have written over the years) that I would be willing to pay to recover.
Note that I have attempted one paid for piece of windows software which did not work and spent significant time using a number of Linux tools to recover data (which worked to a small extent).
Any other advice or comments are, as usual, appreciated.
Yes, you can also admonish me vociferously about not managing my backups (in my defense: I did maintain some backups but it turns out they are fragmented and very hard to consolidate).
