Factors considered:
Conclusion
First Inspection
After some sanding and 2 coats of varnish..
Factors considered:
- What should I charge him- he is a student ?
- I could be putting my time and effort into the revamp and he sells it at a whim?
- I know he likes the speakers- it could be a sentimental keeper set for him.
Conclusion
- Time consuming task but not difficult. Should be do able on the fly.
- I like the idea of saving a vintage loudspeaker- wherever it ends up!
- Lets gamble and see how it unfolds.
First Inspection
- Lots of dings in the corners and edges. Not certain if it can be fixed or hidden?
- Structurally the joints are in good nick.
- A light sand suggest layers of layers of Mr. Min
