"NAD enters the 11-channel AV amplifier club like a bull in a glass shop with the brand new T799. The news is exclusive and we bring it to you from the premises of the ISE2024 exhibition.

The new T799 has Class D amplifiers modified and tuned by NAD. It supports the Blue OS platform online with all the latest high-resolution capabilities, while for room/speaker correction it uses Dirac Live.

The device has 7 HDMI 8K inputs and 3 HDMI outputs (two 8K and one 4K). The important thing here is the modular architecture of the amplifier. For example the part with the HDMI inputs and outputs comes out easily with 2-3 screws, so we can install an upgraded one in the future ourselves. This shows that the booster is looking to the future as of now. In addition to the circuit with HDMI, the user can in the future exchange the part of the audio inputs and outputs, etc.

Upgradable to 19 channels.

The front is dominated by a large 7-inch touch screen for all indications and settings. It has pre-out for all channels, supports four subwoofers (ie it is 11.4 channels) and two additional zones. The four active subwoofer outputs are independent and include Dirac Live Room Correction licenses and Dirac Live Bass Control management tools.

The T799 features NAD's new Dynamic Digital Headroom (DDH) technology, which eliminates clipping between samples of the digital signal, while its DAC is based on the widely acclaimed ESS Saber DAC chip.

It also has a phono stage for MM turntables, USB for music playback, 5 classic digital audio inputs and two MDC2 expansion slots for adding future capabilities. In addition to BluOS high-resolution multi-room capability, the amplifier has AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth aptX HD two-way (send and receive).

It has Ethernet and Wi-Fi networking as well as Spotify Connect as well as Tidal Connect. The unit can also be seamlessly integrated with smart control systems such as Crestron, Control4, ELAN, RTI, URC and others. There is HDMI, USB and headphone output on the front.

Its on-screen menus are high-resolution, and it has a detailed installation wizard as demanded by our times.

Expected on the market in the Fall."
