I think with the sad passing on of Deon and the subsequent mothballing of the magazine part of AVSA a serious vacuum has been created in the industry that is to the detriment to us all.
I hope that someone could step forward with all the necessary competencies to revive AVSA to fill this gap and continue the work of Deon in service of the industry. This is not an easy challenge I realise but it is necessary.
I read with interest all the ideas to improve this forum, but unless we created a bigger cake the forum will become smaller and smaller with fewer contributors in the long run.
A credible publication that has high professional journalistic standards is part of keeping the ecosystem in an industry thriving. We need to talk to a wider audience and not only amongst ourselves.
