I finally found one in good condition.
The internals are untouched and at Nilam getting a good inspection.
Cosmetically good condition but needs work.
I spent the better part of a day cleaning deep, deep dirt from her.
A couple of things I need advice on,
1. The faceplate has a couple of scratches on the top (thankfully no marks or scratches on the front) and I would like to touch them up. It seems to be black anodized aluminum. I initially thought of sanding the top, sides and bottom and then spraying it black.
Then I found this stuff. Aluminum Black by Birchwood Casey. Maybe this is a better idea?

2. Some of the knobs have a black face and some have started to fase. Some are a nice deep black and some are dull Grey. Any ideas on how to revive the deep black on the knobs.
3. The cover has some scratches on it. I Would like to re spray.
I thought of using a paint stripper liquid to get the original paint off and then respray with Rustoleum 2 in 1 primer and Matt black.
Any input / advice would be much appreciated
