Sooo...when (after how many km) should one replace shock absorbers? I believe the challenge with this is that any deterioration is usually a gradual process and not readily apparent, until you fit new shocks and go "wow!"
I don't trust the tests at shock installers - I remember some years ago the AA did a test and the results were not consistent from shop to shop, of course. :
