No No this is not an ode to "Psycho" but a plea to master electricians.....
I have three phase power, hence three meter boxes and three separate phase switches in my distribution board.
So, why oh why, when I switch all three phases OFF, and I switch the (triple coupled) main switch OFF - do I still get an unpleasant jolt from touching my shower taps or shower rose when I am all nicely all wet trying to shower? I am now having to use rubber gloves whilst showering....!
This is despite having electricians (i) binding and earthing where the shower water pipes go into the walls, (ii) linking an earth spike to an earth cable to the DB board, and (iii) running an entirely separate earth cable from the DB to the meter box on the boundary.
Solutions?
