Shopping for a Dac

In my quest to find an affordable unit that is equally good value and generously spec'd  .I have narrowed my current shortlist to...
1) the Emotiva XDA @ $299 excl postage,etc.
2)Maverick audio Tubemagic D1 dac @$219 + $40 postage.
3)Cambridge dacmagic

...Any forums user that can share their experiences ,especially "Maverick tubemagic "owners.
