I've just installed a brand new 12 volt 8Ah battery into a Mecer UPS.
Battery is at a full 13v. Charged by the UPS itself.
I plugged a cell phone in to charge and the unit switched off after 5 minutes.
Added some LED lights .... same thing.
Then I tried a 60 watt incandescent globe. Same thing.
Is the load to low ... which causes it to switch off after 5 minutes. Like clockwork.
The sticker on the back says up to 360 watts.
Just want to confirm .. before I add another 60 watt globe.
