I'm in the very early stages of a new headphone amp design.
I'm done with the input, and summing stages. Left is the buffer, and power circuits.
For the buffer I've planned on using the NJR4556. It is perfect for supplying current.
Allas, it seems it is no longer available.
I'm kindly looking for suggestions for something very clean, that can deliver plenty current, and can be used as a unity gain stage (0dB)
And most important, be available at the likes of RS and mantech or rabtron
Provisionally I'm looking at LME49600 from texas instruments?
