Just a quick heads up for those in Somerset West particularly the Heldervue area. My neighbour has his flat screen TV stolen last night at 3.20 AM and I just watched the CCTV footage from my two outside cameras
There is a gang going around the this area, MO is to scout first in a car and drop a Huisgenood into the post box, then other guys later climbing over house walls as well as approaching from both directions up and down the road. They remove a window pane and get in that way.
Looks like they communicate via cell, quite organised. The elderly couple never noticed a thing whilst these guys were in the house cleaning them out. A few weeks ago another break in and a neighbour woke up to find the guy in her bedroom with her bag, pointing a loaded gun at him made no difference as he glared, took the bag anyway and left. These guys are very bold, be careful.
I am now looking to buy a high res night CCTV camera, any ideas/sources?
