Having been a fan of emotiva equipment and owning an amp/processor combo I had the unfortunate situation of a lightning strike a couple of weeks ago and my processor as some minor damage. Long story short I approached emotiva who suggested that I contact their new distributor inSA (company called Volco) to take a look at what needs repair.

They refused to even look at it. Insisting that it was illegal for them to open it because it was brought into the country as a ?grey? import. Since when is a direct to consumer company selling a product to me a grey import!

They then had the gall to remind me they will be bringing in the new RMC processor in case I wanted to buy it from them! I think not...

Sorry for the vent but had to vent to someone.
