Sent the Sota in to Rudi for a plinth and counterweight. Small price for a great improvement. The stage and height improved. The floor noise disappeared. Bass is more defined. Overall dynamics improved. Listened with and without weight and the difference is quite noticeable. Yes I don't have the greatest pre-amp at this point but the improvement is there. When my pre-amp is built and phono stage ready I am sure this will give me hours of listening pleasure without breaking the bank. For the money spent the improvement was worth every cent if not more. Yes its not the most expensive unit and everyone has their opinoins on what sounds best to them, but to me it will be a long time till I upgrade. Once Rudi has my phono stage ready I am going to be a very happy chappy ;D....
