SPEAKER LEADS FOR AV FRONT SPEAKERS

I use to own a Mid-level Stereo system with decent interconnects and speaker leads and this made all the difference to optimise it's performace. I have since migrated to a mid-level av system and would like to know how important is the quality of the speakers cables for the fronts and centre speakers?
Do you have any suggestions in this regard?
