I have a pair of these Kenwood LSK-757 speakers. Their specs are: 4-way, 4 speaker system; 8 ohm, 180 watts, 35 hz - 20 khz. I bought them in the late-ish 90s. To my ears back then, they were bass monsters. This might be the reason why my neighbours at the time thought it a good idea to break in and try to remove the woofers. I tried to play them today for the first time in more than a decade and I'm only hearing the tweeters - no sound from the mid and bass drivers (though this might just be a soldering issue).
At the moment these are glorified ornaments. I'm trying to make a call on whether they are salvageable or not. Anyone know what it would cost to bring these back from the dead?
