Squeezebox setup advice wanted

I now have two squeezeboxes networked through a wireless router.
Is it possible to network them in such a way that I can have an external HDD connected to the one and then use that one as a server for the other?
I'm not keen on having my computer in the network as I prefer to leave it off.
Can't seem to pick up the hdd from the second SB.
