Ello ello!! Need some advice here, as i am new to the world of vinyl and all that goes with it, i purchased a cheap turntable to test the waters, to find i enjoy the sound of vinyl warm and beautiful compared to clinical cd replication of music... My question is, as i know iv bought a cheapie, and dont have the spare cash for a nice Linn or Rega or the likes yet, would a cartridge upgrade on my Stanton 60 make a significant difference to the sound if i use the standard tonearm? My reasoning is that if i do upgrade the cartridge, i could always keep and use it on the next turntable i purchase? Is this a valid argument or should i just save up a bit and get an already tweaked secondhand table with upgraded tonearm, cartridge, etc?
