I've had the Stax Sr-207's for a while now, I find that if my ear touches the inner mesh (between the pads), I often get some static/distortion noises. Not sure if the pads are meant to simply rest on the ears but the gap is rather large and my ears fit inside the pads.
Anyone else have this issue? Should I be concerned that there may be an issue with the diaphragm?
