Hmmm... Time to move away from my AV setup and put somethin together for "daddy" 
I have a Nakamichi AV 7 amplifier, old but a beast, Nad cd player a pair of Mordaunt Short MS 20i pearls, and (dont laugh) a Stanton turntable to get my little setup started...
I will be slowly upgrading each component, maybe a small valve amp, etc, etc... Which is why i need some info and help in this regard.. I need a phono stage amplifier, either standalone or an older preamp with phono input. I will obviously have to upgrade the turntable at a later stage with something a bit more quality oriented... thus my problem, i know very little in this field and need some opinions pls.
