So I have a client  with an Cary SLI-80 amplifier.

In the amp is a set of brand set Shuguang (Tested TWICE now by a very good CT valve builder and a AVO163 by experienced ) measures 100-105%

So now we have some "CLUB" member telling the guy "Chinese" valves are causing the 0mA bias current  :point:  Buy some EH valve or others...that will sort it   Wow, why not tell him buy EAT KT88 ?  :teach:

BUT the amps plays so perfectly, biased perfectly by a renowned CT valve builder, so there must be DARK magic here  :giggle:

Now any person that can connect two wires together will tell you that maybe, just maybe the previous owner DISCONNECTED" the bias plug as to have no switch in the bias circuit.  :giggle:

Our couch experts...unbeatable  :vsad: , just shut up if you dont really know, or get treatment for the Dunning Kruger syndrome  :2thumbs:

Resolution: Im going to open the amp and reinstate the circuit.
