okay so i was successful with the Nagaoka mp11 stylus.....but Shonver dropped off a few carts as trade for a new AT stylus,they all need stylus replacements so i thought i'd give the goldring Epic a go....removed a new suspension and stylus from the stash,matched the profiles as best i could,slapped it all together in no time plugged her in .......and NOTHING!!!This was at 12 last night so i tackled this perplexing scenario this morning....upon closer inspection this fool had chosen a hollow tubed cantilever when a solid one was required!Quick swopout and voila!One Goldring sorted and sounding very very nice!Next up is an Excel 70s and then an AT of Shonvers(which appears more challenging!)and then Alty's Shure 97!MC's look like a whole other kettle of fish.....babysteps for now!
