Moving house soon and for the first time will have more to work with than the usual open-plan TV/living room. I have in-ceiling speakers in my current setup, but I'm leaving them behind for the new owners.
Need advice on whether to go with in-ceiling speakers in the new house, or switch to bookshelf speakers instead (wall-mount option will be available). Common sense tells me that the bookshelf option will provide a better surround experience because of the lower positioning. Anyone with experience of both options? Please let me know what worked best.
