We're busy renovating - so everything is packed away safely... I'm contemplating changing my system to allow for the use of the fireplace in this picture.
At the moment I have Polk Audio RTi A9s, CSi A6 and 2x Rhytmik Audio D15SE subs up front, which take up just about the entire floor width of 4.5m. I think the entire system is too big for the room - 5.5m x 4.5m.
I was wondering if bookshelf fronts, a decent center, and a single sub might meet my needs a bit better (mostly movies and music) - my only issue is the projector screen comes down to just above the fireplace - and obviously I need somewhere to place the center speaker?
Any opinions on how/what to do to allow the fireplace in the room to be used (obviously this won't be done with the projector in use)
