Tear in a Grandview projector screen - repairable?

Hi all

I have been looking for a fixed frame screen for a while now and found one second hand that I can just afford.  The problem is, the screen has a small (could cover it with a 5c piece) tear in the very bottom left hand corner.  It apparently happened when the guy was moving house recently.  Do any of you know if this can be fixed or am I on a hiding to nothing and the tear will just grow over time as it sits under tension?  Anyone know where I could find out?
