Hi everyone. I have had this table for some time now and just recently it started playing up. Some help in this matter from the TT pros would be great. When the tone arm reaches roughly 2/3rds along the LP, the left channel looses signal intermittently.
I downloaded the service manual and opened it up(the TT that is) only to find nothing untoward. I cleaned all and did some lubricating as per the manual. The tone arm belt seems to be ok surprisingly.
It may have been replaced prior to me owning it. The only thing that I noticed was the outer cable housing of the signal cable from the cartridge is cracked. So I'm wondering if there isn't
a faulty wire in that cable as it is in the bend and moves with the tone arm. Could it be the cartridge or something ells that I may have missed?

Thanx in advance guys.
