I use Telkom Fibre/Uncapped 10MBPS internet at my house. Had the contract for about 6 months (working OK) and was then contacted 2 weeks ago (telesales) asking if I'd like to upgrade to 20 MBPS, which I agreed to. Might be coincidence but since Wednesday my internet is down. I reported this to Telkom on Thursday.
I use a ethernet cable from this
to this D-Link router.
It's not easy to see but in the first pic there are no LAN LEDs showing, only Tel1.
Is the most obvious cause "before" the Hauwei (Telkom) or the Hauwei itself (can lightning be a possibility). I also tried a different Ethernet cable but no difference
So after trying the other Eternet cable, I replaced the original but into LAN1 port, which lit up but not constantly :thinking: and still no internet :vsad: The LED indicating "Internet" is now also flickering on the D-Link.
