Whilst in [one of the last remaining/big) Musica's today I overheard the staff that, in short, they are lokking forward to working at Clicks. Needless to say this means the end of physical media. I couldn't bear to ask them what the Musica closing date is. I could see that basically the wholse shop is on sale.
Does anyone here have any inside info on when the last copy of physical media go to market. I'm guessing black friday or Christmas. Then, no more physical media.
From then on we're stuck with whatever streaming quality the atreaming companies would "suffice" for us...
I started streaming and could go on, but I have yet to hear a medium that outplays Grace Jones' Slave to the Rythm on CD.
So I now opened myself up to get blixemed from any- and everybody nullifying my views. Go for it Lads!
As long as you give it to me in physical format for old times sake.
I for one will miss the Musica's. It was all I had left of the physical a/v world.
Edit: Correct topic heading.
