The future of High-End Audio in South Africa

Browsing through the for sale posts and seeing plenty of good gear at extreme reduced prices and still not managing to sell made me think....
Is there a future for high end audio in this country lets say in 10 years ? Or will high end pass into legend ? How many youngsters are there truly that are developing a passion for HIFI ?
