I have a vintage Lafayette receiver and one of the buttons is a "loud" button
What actually happens when one pushes this button? - I could not resist any longer and low and behold, my AR3s has never ever sounded like this before. Bass is presenting itself - impressively! mids are more pronounced and for lack of better explanation, I cannot wait to flip the ON switch in the morning to experience the new found "life" in a very vintage setup.
So, this is a proper question - What actually happens inside (does it cut out some circuitry) when one pushes the loud button?
