Most amps are rated 20Hz - 20KHz, so what does that really mean? Prior to settling on the ATC I ran it up again a Class A and Class D amplifier, ATC being AB. I found the bass response to be totally different on all three amps with the ATC digging much deeper than the other two. Upon investigation found the ATC rating to be 5Hz - 200KHz. Did this have something to do with it? Then enter the Graaf GM20 and again totally different digging even further than the ATC! Google the specifications, 1Hz - 350KHz.
Why do MOST manufacturers rate their amplifiers 20Hz - 20KHz? When there is clearly a difference between amplifiers. Why not just give us the low down? And let's see what the thing really does. Having said that I found every amp to be very different in the bass response...
