The PMPO era

I came across this ad on gumtree and it reminded me of the PMPO era which has now been taken over by the RMS(@1khz,1 ch driven, then multiplied by the amount of channels = equals RMS output-Sony being one of the biggest culprits here) era.

The figure quoted in the pic below , sadly, was one of the less exaggerated figures and was no where near as bad as the figures quoted by the likes of JVC and Sony.
