Here is something that really bugs me.....and I need opinions...not fights please ?
And please throw an explanation in of WHY you feel that way ?
If I take my Kingdoms and make them Active. I put in a DSP processor, remove the crossovers and run it fully active.
For those that do not know, a DSP takes the original analog signal, converts it to digital, adjust it to the programming the user entered (based on measurements ), converts it back to analog and power the amplifiers.
1) Will the sound be better ?
2) Will it still be close to the original signal ?
3) Will I loose the character of the system/kingdoms
4) Should I chuck my Valve preamp and good CD player etc ?
