TI Burr-Brown vs ESS SABRE

Hi Guys

I recently picked up an OPPO BDP-83SE only to find my Integra AVR not supporting multi-channel analogue in :RTFM:

Integra packs Burr-Brown 192kHz/24bit DAC's (PCM1690) and the OPPO features ESS Sabre (ES9016)

My question to you, would it be worth my while to upgrade to an AVR/Processor supporting multichannel in vs keeping the Integra and and using the Oppo via HDMI?
