We have had the above lamp for ages and is one of those "eveready & reliable" appliances that always works and never fails. At home during Eskom fails this thing works like a dream but we had to transport it over gravel roads last week. Needless to say the mantle became a little holey

Any ideas on how to pack these things for hard 'n bouncy roads ? I was thinking about some bubble wrap in a plastic bucket or bubble wrap in a cardboard box, partioned off with a section to hold a bottle of paraffin, the meths, matches and spare mantles.
