My tweeter on my Tannoy Mercury M5 stopped working. I opened up the box and found the magnet had separated and fallen down inside.
Is this easy to repair?
- Can I just remove the old glue and freshly glue it back in place?
- It looks like it would be possible to line up the 3 screws and they would hold the magnet in place instead of the glue, but the screws, in practice, haven't been used in this way and are too short for this purpose. Can I just get longer screws instead of the glue?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
