Vile, despicable, money-stealing liars. No, this isn?t a description of our politicians, but rather a character sketch of the people you will meet in Martin Scorsese?s latest cinematic masterpiece. The grandfather of cinema shows us again why he is and remains one of my favorite filmmakers of all time. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio in probably his finest performance yet, and Jonah Hill in another surprising turn also puts in a stellar performance. The Wolf of Wall Street is by far the best film of 2013 (5 Academy Awards nominations for the upcoming Oscars) and one that is essential to the viewing of anyone who loves an intelligent but funny film.
