Anybody have any experience running a Usb Dac as source for hi-fi?
I am currently running mostly digital source (computer sounds card, 3.5mm jacks into rca's), mostly 320 kbps mp3 but converting cds to lossless (flac, alac).
Is there a significant quality improvement with a dedicated usb dac? I would expect there to be since the card and connectors are sitting inside the pc which I would expect to be pretty analogue hostile.
Any experience with usb drivers? Which models offer best value?
