Hi, I am researching USB DACs.
As a phone has a build in dac. The wadia 170i was I think one of the first to work with iPhone 4 to disable the internal DAC and use the wadias build in one
Now how does it work with android phones and the new iPhone 5. Is the build in DAC disabled or do you use special players to use the external DACs opposed to the build in ones of the phones.
Thanks in advance, if anyone is highly into DACs please let me know or pm me as this is where I want to go in HiFi. To know how it works and the different ones on the market and their differences as I believe after vinyl and CD this is the next wave of evolution. (My opinion)
