Hi members
In my lounge I'm using my TV connected to the internet as the source for almost all audio/video content. I really like the ARC feature on HDMI to scroll Netflix, YouTube and Spotify while changing the volume all done on the TV remote. I only care for 2.1 stereo. If I use a standalone DAC between the TV and AVR (in stereo mode) will I still be able to control the volume on the AVR with my TV remote via ARC? The main idea here is to also connect a power amp to the pre-outs on the AVR thus upgrading my setup with what I currently have available.
Thanks
JB
