Need to know how you all think this will work, and / or what alternatives you can suggest please!

Scenario:
Equestrian show venue. Multiple arenas, each with own PA system & announcer.
At present the announcer is expected to bring their own laptop with music to play in between announcements.
Except they more often than not forget.

Suggestion:
Samsung Galaxy tablet: https://www.makro.co.za/electronics-computers/computers-tablets/tablets-e-readers/android/samsung-32-gb-galaxy-tab-8-lte-tablet-black-sm-t295-/p/000000000000383053_EA
32GB micro sd card with music pre loaded onto it.
Screen protector & carry case.

Announcer arrives at venue, collects tablet from admin office, plugs it into the PA & uses the tablet to play music. Returns it to admin office at the end of the day.

This seems to make workable sense - announcer will sign for it & be responsible for returning it. Otherwise it could well grow legs during the day.

What apps would be needed to setup playlists etc? I've never used a phone or tablet for music, so am lost when it comes to this.

Any other ideas/suggestions? Inexpensive ones - there are 4 different arenas that need a solution!

Thanks :)
