Not a particularly big issue one way or another, but I was curious about what the general consensus is.
Part of me thinks that if you put something up for sale, you're selling it in its current condition, and you shouldn't put any more wear on it.
Then again, another part of me recognises that you might need to sell something first before you can replace it, like a big pair of floorstanders.
