So just thought I would share these for all vintage lovers on the forum.
Found a pair of Emi 300 vintage speakers.
I cannot find much info on the web about these.. here and there..
They are extremely heavy, almost broke my back just to try and get them in the house.
Interesting design, utilizes a 15 inch massive magnet bass driver, 2x midrange drivers and 2 x super tweeters.
Very efficient, ideal even for small valve amps.
Sound is very large and big, needs a large room for them. Bass is fast and solid. Lovely vintage open and warm sound. Great mids and crisp treble. Very good center imaging.
Sounds best on blues, jazz etc.. sounds like a live concert in your room. The louder they play the better they sound.
If anyone maybe has some more info on these speakers or maybe also have a pair of them please let me know your thoughts.
