Viperdefender stun device problems

My Viper Defender stun device has stopped working. Changed batteries - nothing. According to their sales blurb when I bought it and confirmed on their website, it has a "lifetime warranty" I can't get them to rely to my emails even though I have got read receipts. Anyone else have a problem with them?
