Vivid V1.5/Exclam?

Having been blown away by the Vivid V1.5/Paladin combination at Francois' place, I have decided to start "saving up" for a pair of Vivids. (and perhaps a Paladin in good time).

I have an Exclam? 100, and am no hurry to buy a new amp. Does the Exclam? have enough oomph to drive the Vivids nicely? Has anyone tried that combination? I'd be keen to hear your opinions.

Also, how are the Vivids in a big room?
