so about a week or so ago my Integra DTR 50.2 started giving me funny picture, it had slight redish\pinkish colour.  obviously I went through the process of elimination to ensure that the weakness was actually with the receiver.
I then took it to Modern sound last Friday.  the guys tested the unit while I was there, infact, there was no video at all via HDMI when we tested at the shop but the sound was fine. that same Friday afternoon the unit was shipped to Volco and they called me to confirm receipt this week Monday.
to think just a couple of weeks ago, I was defending this very issue on this very brand.
any way ive been waiting all week wondering how much the damage would be, and fearing another weekend with no music.  this morning I get a call from Derick at Modern Sound, telling me my receiver is back, I can come and fetch.  no charge, not even freight charge.
on the sheet it reads, Diagnosis - DSP/OSP not sure if that is a an 'O' or a 'D', Action taken  - replaced HDMI PCB tested OK.

I felt this kind of service was worth mentioning

now that its all been fixed, I do recall a time when I was trying out different HDMI cables and I may have connected and disconnected without switching off.
